Can I make chromes top site layout look like safaris top site layout?

browsers, I really hate the good things being so scattered.


chrome - I LOVE tabs on top
safari - top sites layout is the best looking I have seen, better looking than the standard chrome layout

firefox - plugins, but I am not a plugin heavy user

ie - I got nothing.


Opera - would be using it IF it had tabs on top, the most annoying thing about the browser is being so top heavy.




I want tabs on top and the safari intro page layout

Least top heavy browser out there with both these capabilities.


So tweak chrome to get safari style top sites? Tweak opera to get safari style layout for top sites AND tabs on top AND clean up the top heavy layout?

ditto firefox?
