PCP&C makes the best PSUs and it sounds like you got a good deal. that unit should be able to take just about anything you throw at it.

yes! (pumping fist!) just what i wanted to here, i need those steady 12v rails.
 
yeah, i don't know what the difference between this 475w unit and the current 425w unit they are selling. possably different sources? they both have 1% regulation on the 3.3, 5 and 12v rails. maybe the new one has lower ripple?

*edit* looks like it's got the 1% ripple just like the current crop of Turbo-Cool units. i guess the 475w unit is probably just the previous top of the line PSU they sold.
