Using 2 x Dell 2709 displays on 5770 (1GB) card- each display connected to individual DVI port.

Thinking about adding Dell 3011.

Question:
Could I just connect 3011 to 5770's Display Port and have it work?

BTW, I do little gaming on this computer....

Yes you can just connect it to the DP. In fact that's the only way to do it. If you're thinking of Eyefinity, you may want to upgrade your card as well.

Yeah, a 5770 can easily run that for normal desktop work. I've run that many pixels off my 5770 with no problem before.
