We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

can anyone send me...

ok update time. It's about 3:30, and I've just finished getting this going. I now have a (relatively) simple, expandable setup which has folding, ssh, saves progress, nfs mount, and all kinds of good stuff. I will post this somewhere soon, but it's ~10MB and I'm on dialup, so don't hold your breath. Looking at the FLECOM's pic hosting links, only a couple have the storage space required to upload this...

Okay, you say, so what does this mean? How do I use it? Well, it's simple enough, it just takes about a jillion steps to put together. First you install linux. I suggest Redhat's Fedora Core for linux n00bs. I even did my install with that so I could give you step by step.

Install linux to somewhere. This will become the "server" machine. It doesn't need to be heavy-duty (unless you want all of your 10000 farm boxen to boot from it  ). You need to install the following packages:
nfs-utils
dhcpd
tftpd
and anything else you want. Look around, post if you can't find them. You can use your main box as a server (if you're willing to have it a. linux and b. on all the time), and just add in any packages you want. Me, I used a fairly minimal install, 855mb or so.
Ok ready? In the next installment, we configure network services and try it out. This will configure both PXE and etherboot, so whether you've got the fancy nic's or a bunch of floppy drives lying around, this'll work for you. But for right now, it's late and I'm heading to bed. School tomorrow. :(

Fold on.

Sweet!! looking forward to this... Keep us posted on the progress :D

Keep on Folding!!

Yep, it's working. Were I not on dialup, a WU would have turned iin earlier this morning. My biggest problem was that the client.cfg got deleted somehow on one of the boxen, so i rebooted and deleted the saved progress for that box (none). I'm kinda in a hurry now but I'll give details on how it saves/restores later.

Fold on, fellas.
