can a wga11b be used without a game console as a bridge?

I need a wireless bridge.

I was thinking the WET11 but its a little on the expensive side. I noticed I can get a WGA11B wireless gaming adapter that is cheaper and it seems to do the same thing.

However, the WGA11B seems to be made directly for gaming consoles. Will it work as a regular bridge that I can use for my computer?
