At my school (CMSU) this Saturday I left to go out for the night and before I left I was able to surf the net. Then when I came back to my dormroom, I noticed that I had lost my internet. The Firewall drive that allows us to be connected had dropped off. I thought if I gave it time it would just resolve itself. But it hasn't yet. I cannot connect to the firewall drive, but I can see other computer on the Local Area Network.

I went to the library and they had internet. So is it possible for me to be dropped off the network just out of the clear blue? Anything I can check on? I have iBook with OSX Tiger if that is needed.

Why don't you call the IT department? I imagine they would know more about their network than we would. :p They might have cut you off. I know Truman disconnects nodes if they send out so many packets over a certain period of time. Then you have to take the computer to ITS to have them clean it up before they'll let you back on the network.
