Can a CRT have a dead "pixel"?

I'm asking because my Samsung CRT appears to have what looks like a dead pixel. Its a small dot that always displays green (at least I think green, difficult to tell). I know CRT's don't have pixels like LCD's do, but i've never heard of this happening in a CRT.

I've seen Sony F500 monitors with at least one pixel out. Very very hard to pick out but it was there. Totally black, not green though. Never seen one with what you're describing.

there is a possibility it was burned into the monitor. CRTs fire particles at the screen, so this isn't completely unlikely. It could also just be the guns misfiring.

It could be a piece of dirt / dust trapped on the inside of the glass ..ive heard this can happen during the CRT manufacturing process...but as mentioned before theres no such thing as a dead pixel on a CRT.
