Can a 4870 support 3 monitors?

I do not really have an understanding of eyefinity and such. I have a z68 motherboard with on board graphics and a HD 4870. I was recently given 2 extra monitors. Is it possible to run my three monitors on my current setup? I wouldn't use all three for gaming, just modeling and such.

Thanks

eyefinity started with the 5k series cards so running 3 displays won't work with the 4870. you can get a second card like intel_hydralisk said or upgrade to a 5k or 6k series card.

You could in theory get the onboard graphics running alongside your 4870, but mixing video drivers is not fun in Windows 7. Getting another video card is definitely easier if you go AMD as it will work alongside your 4870 and its driver as long as the second card is at least a HD2000 series.
