Camera/Text msging phone under $400

Okay, my mom is planning to add another line on my brother's plan to make it a family plan. I'm going to get a free phone from AT&T and then buy a really nice camera phone. But the thing is the camera phones that are grabbing my attention are the ones made by Sony Ericsson.

I would get the K800i but the buttons are mashed together, my Budget for the phone is $250 but will go up to $400 if the phone that you show me has a really nice design. I won't mind if there was a QWERTY keyboard. People I know tell me to get the Sidekick LX but I don't like them very much. Any suggestions?

Well for one the sidekick is not on AT&T (though it is the same band base). I would go for one of the one iPhone as they are $200 now and have a good camera (all though you cannot do video or zoom like some of the Sony's).
