Hello Everyone,
My parents want a digital camera for Christmas. It needs to be simple. Really simple. I'm thinking about getting them one with a printer dock, just because I figure they can't mess that up too bad. Any suggestions?

Canon SD750...$250 at best, $225 with online retailers like Newegg

mother took it on her European Vacation...not one shot wasted...I just told her about two settings:
1) Auto = Outdoors
2) Party mode = indoors

For ppl pictures, keep above waist level or 4 feet away.

I made sure her 2GB SD was empty when I dropped her off at the airport...when she got back, we burned into CD dropped it off at photolab--2 days later all pics come out nice.

Photodocks are nice, but work on Gillette principle===cheap equipment, but expensive ink+paper (unless buying in large bulks = 5 packages+

Can't wait for her to come back from Jerusalem.;)

Skip the cheap Polaroid/Kodak digicam=== to grainny

I have the SD750 and it does take good pictures for the price and it is small = win.

I have the SD 750 too. I got it for $207 from an Amazon shop about a week ago. Check Amazon 1st. Also I got another one from BeachCamera.com for $230 (few months ago) when they were going for $250 everywhere else...

Have to agree with everyone above, also if you have a Costco membership you can upload the files to their website and they normally will have them printed by the time you wander down to Costco (takes maybe a half hour) and they are dirt cheap, think like maybe 10c a page or something like that. Hell I got CDs from my two rolls of 35mm for 8 bucks with all the shots plus the negatives.... Cant go wrong with that.
