Im looking for a digital camcorder for under 350. i want good sound and video, but i just dont have that much money to get a really good one. i want to use it to make some short films me and my friends write up. anyways, thanks in advance!

go a little higher, 50 bux higher, 400$ gets you the Canon Optura 10 shipped from Buydig.com. Look into the reviews for it, www.camcorderinfo.com and dvspot.com have some great stuff. The 10 is a toned down version of the more expensive 20 with the same quality minus a light, which is better purchased seperate imo and a bigger lcd, which doesnt matter much. Personally I find myself using the viewfinder because its good on battery and typically more stable. I went cross country and fantastic video work with the 10. I only reccomend you read over all the literature that comes with it, because knowing the camera made it much easier to use.

http://engage.4t.com/index.html, just some examples of the digital still, which for 1.33 mp aint bad. I will be uploading movies soon too.
