1. Stock Processor Speed
2. O/C'ed Speed
3. FSB Acheived
4. Memory Used
5. Memory Timings
6. Cooling Used

I have tried a couple 2.6Cs and have yet to find one that is faster than my 2.4C. The next processor I will be buying is a 2.4C, but it is the luck of the draw.

I've got the 2.8C CPU running at 3402 Mhz. I think the bus speed is 240 and the voltage is stock. I have the SP-94 with a 92mm Stealth fan on top, cools it nicely. At this speed the chip idles at about 43C and tops out at about 56C if I remember correctly. I have the ram underclocked a bit, I think its at 388 instead of 400. I need to find out of that negates my CPU overclock with the memory underclocked, I just did it last night and got it stable but haven't done any benchmarking. What do you guys think?

When I get home I can get a CPUID screenshot for you to look at.

I got my 2.8C to boot at 3.4 (240 FSB), it's perfectly stable in all applications except benchmarking/torture. You may run into some problems with that when you do benchmark, don't be surprised.

239 was the same situation, and 238 was my sweet spot for a stable 3.35ghz. Only thing that crashes now is Prime95 (HALTS), and I don't really care as long as my games run (prolonged tests have proven stability in games) :)

1. 2.4GHz
2. 3.3GHz
3. 275MHz
4. Corsair TWINX512-3200C2 @ 366MHz
5. 2-3-2-6
6. Zalman CNPS7000-AlCu
7. 1.6v (Actual: 1.520v~1.568v)
8. 2.8v

Vicariously, you also have a space heater sitting on your desk :)

My sig is my oc I think its great. 1000mhz fsb with stock cooling and stock voltage . I think this chip would do a little better with better cooling and ram. I have benched it with 3Dmark 2001 ss @ 3.4 ghz got 16189 with my MSI 4600 oced to like 340/730 has the thermaltake cooling kit on it. Sisoft memory bench I get 5,200/5,200 in dual channel.

Yeah well it keeps me warm at night :D

Here's the CPUID - its pretty stable, I ran Prime95 for a few hours on torture and its still goin strong so...

I would DEFINATELY reccomend that coolermaster heatsink, it is awesome.

I dont support Core center users. I did all of my O/C'ing through the bios ;), just wanted to show you so i used this.

Heres the pic if you want to see it

The chip will run 3.5 on default voltage, with the retail hsf, but my memory won't take it, and I don't want to go 3:2. So, I have it here for the moment.

Edit: my cpu temp is 41C at load (2 instances of folding) and case temp is 35C

2.4 @ 3.12 currently- load temps are 55C with vcore at 1.55

Ive gotten up to 3.3 and ran prime for about 3 hours, then i started having probs.
