Well he is at it again, but this time he is on Overclock.net selling off all the stuff he trolled. He is using the name darkninja420, this guy should be banned from the internet all together..
 
i can confirm that his name is the same as logitechfreak having bought something from him on OCN. Given that I received it from him, I did not think too much about the coincidence at the time. If a mod PM's me about any information I have, I will be more than happy to provide it.

There is a guy over at OC.NET by that name and yes, he is selling a LOT of stuff ... but I am curious, what proof do you have that he is our beloved Logitechfreak? Has he been called out over there?

What do you base your accusation on? If true then why not warn the users over there?

The mods over there know that Darkninja420 is Chris Chartier. They are not banning him because he has yet to do anything wrong over there. At least that's what one of the mods told me.

Im certain the mods WILL pull it as well. I pm'd them with the info as well. And if they do put it down, I'll just post it again until they get the message or they prove me dead wrong that its not him.


The most annoying thing about this is that authorities are not doing this about it. I called my credit card company and got my money back, AND closed paypal at the same time, but this shitbag is going to keep going until someone smacks him around.
 
I have seen him over at OCN saying, oh my roof caved, by my stuff, I'm so poor I have no $$$. And people feel bad for him, and literally give him shit. BEWARE

I was not one of his victims ... but if I was I would do exactly what you are doing, hounding him wherever he went. What he is doing is so wrong ... I just find it hard to believe that the mods over there are allowing him to do business there.

I once used to a huge memeber over there at oc.net and got banned because me and a few others opened our won site...not taking anything from the OC site, Believe me its a dictatorship there so really I am not shocked at all, even if your intentions were good
 
TTT is only for discussing troll issues here on [H]ardforum.
You should only be posting to this thread if you have an update regarding dealings that happened here, like new communication, a refund, he's in jail again, etc.
Please don't post about a known troll being seen on other forums, since it's not really relevant to his activity here
 
I'm sorry if I didn't make myself clear enough last time.
Do not post in this or any other TTT thread about troll happenings on other forums. [H]ardforum TTT is not some clearinghouse for troll discussions. We frankly don't care what Chris does on other forums. It's not our business, it's the business of that forum, and you should take it up there via the proper channels per their rules.

nevergrind3r, I'm going to have to say that I'd side with the OC.net forum mods. If someone registered just to spam on all of the posts of anyone here, it wouldn't fly. What's wrong with respectfully directing a mod to this thread or the one on Anand for more info, and letting them handle it? People don't like having their toes stepped on, and if you violate the rules, even with good intentions, it's not okay.

So, let me reiterate:
1. Do not post in this thread or any other TTT thread unless you have something useful to contribute. Trolls sightings elsewhere do not fall in this category. Asking for updates doesn't either.
2. PM me or another FS/T mod if you're unsure about whether a post is appropriate. We're here and happy to help beforehand. Not so much afterwards.
3. They'll be infractions going around if you chose to disregard these wishes. Doubly so if you first acknowledge that you're breaking the rules and then proceed to do so anyway. Ignorance is no excuse, but willful violation is worse.
4. Forum wars are a big no-no that will get you banned here. It's nowhere near that level yet, but encouraging people to go to another forum and post a bunch about something, especially if people are already getting banned and their posts removed, is well on the way. So lets knock it off while things are still fairly civil, okay?

He is active on a few forums....look around, you can find him pretty easy
 
people, if you still havent received money back or your item, hopefully you paid with a credit card, and your best bet is to contact your credit card company to resolve the problem. Good luck all!
 
So i have been contacting him and he sent me this website which was supposed to be google checkout. The link was actually indeed a phishsing site and i got hacked and lost around $800.

Alright so it all started when i was talking to this police officer and i told chris to hurry up with my payments of im going to have the police officer personally call. Then chris said ok i have the money and for me to make a google checkout and he sent me a link that wasn't google checkout, But of course i didn't check if it was and i clicked it, turned out to be a phishing site and a week later im missing $720 from my bank account.

Please tell me you still have the link he sent you and the correspondence you had with him... If so, i'm pretty certain that he might have just dug his own grave.
 
I hope you have filed a fraudulent complaint with your bank so they can make an attempt to recover your money.

If this is his work, I hope the fooker burns in hell! The number of transactions he has over at OCN is absurd. I hope it's not your money that's being used dude!

I'd get with the OP here & the gentleman over at Anandtech if I were you.. Getting axx to a person's bank account has got to be a Felony.
 
I want to be certain though that he had access to my accounts and if its true i will notify my bank, press charges for a felony and hopefully we can all see the $$ back
