Wow I missed this thread.

I dont post much but check in every once in a while. It got stuck on a WU and I had to uninstall and delete folder and reinstall again. I dont know how long it was like that, I jsut happen to notice it one day.

I just got an Intel D and am wondering what the easiest way to utilize the second core is.

Install Client in separate file?

yes, two versions of the console in two different file folders.
 
Says that its already running. I use the graphical client, is this the issue?

Yes, use the console client, seperate folders and -local switch.
