Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Chenming Fans
I want to see how everyone has their cases set up with fans? I'm kinda pissed off at the airflow in mine right now, so I wanna change it all around, I was wondering actually if anyone has fit a 120mm fan in the front?
Twin Panflos for the intake controlled by the baybus and a thermally controlled blowhole. Thats all I need. The panflo's move enough air that exhaust fans arn't needed, thereby reducing clutter and noise. The PSU moves enough air away from the CPU and the rest is sucked out via the blowhole.
I like efficency more then just overkill in my cases know adays....
i have 2 80mm led fans in the back, 1 in the front of my hard drive cage to push hot air off the hard drives, and one at the bottom to bring in air from the front. my pc seems pretty happy with this setup.
Five Coolermaster LED 80mm fans, three in front, two in rear. Front three are connected to fanbus, more for looks than control. Power supply has one big 120mm fan.
as i sit here looking into my case, it makes me think....
Its time to start a new project
spring break is comming up, so is my birthday, so i'll have the time & money for something nice.
Plans:
92mm intake on window, or a blowhole.
mounting the switch for my CCFL's on the back of my case
taking out thoes nasty PCI fans i have and re-wiring a bit.
and lastly, buy that 9800pro
