I have an ASUS VE247H monitor that I was happy with and recently purchased a Samsung LE40A456C2D 40" LCD to sit beside it. At first the 40"didn't look great next to my 24". I adjusted the 40" based on a profile online I found. The color were more accurate, especially the skin tones but it looked a bit washed out. After more fiddling I managed to get very acceptable colors. Unfortuatly it now makes my 24" look bad next to it. Looking online briefly it seems that colors on a computer screen are adjusted through software. My question is how can I adjust the colors öf the 24" without a colorimeter and if I can do it through software independently of the 40"
I assume anyone with a multi-monitor set-up with different brands has delt with this issue.
