So in my last point I mentioned I was disappointed with the Asus VN279Q. Mainly in the color temperature. I decided to keep the monitor even though the color is not the greatest as the text reproduction and black white separation is really good.

I wanted to show what I am talking about when I say the color temperature is off. This is between the Asus VN279Q monitor on the left and the Samsung 940BW monitor on the right. The samsung is a 19" TN panel which has served me very well over the last 5 or so years. Maybe longer.

The following picture is from a tv show. As you can see the character in the center has good and realistic skin tone on the right (samsung ) monitor. Though on the left (asus) the skin has very little color and looks reddish.

I have gone through the windows calibration and essentially it didn't want me to do anything. I have made sure that my color settings are set to Full and not limited in the nvidia tool.

Does anybody have any idea how to resolve this or at least make it better. anything to make it better would help.

You need to buy a colorimeter and calibrate your monitor. No ICC profile will be accurate enough for your monitor.
