Calibrating a 3007WFP-HC?

Anyone have any experience in doing so? I'm looking to pull the trigger on one of these but I get ALL of my displays calibrated professionally (or do it myself if lazy) and I was wondering if anyone has done either.

Also, on a related subject, what's this talk about the lack of manual adjustments if you don't have a Dell PC? What does that mean for calibration? ...or is it just an annoyance?

I recently calibrated mine with a Huey Pro(luckily revived a good one) it was $100CAD shipped .. so it was a decent deal

the colors turn out to my satisfaction on both the 3007 and a 21"Cornerstone CRT, I've yet to go to my photo lab and get a few prints to see how it compares

There is no OSD on the 3007 so all the color calibrating would come from you video card control panel or a third party program like the ones that come with a calibrator

Any idea if there's issues with games/applications overriding the settings of the calibration software or video card settings?
