How do you calculate or get Points Per Day - PER machine (or per core would work to)?

That EMII thing is great, but starts getting really bogged down/buggy with a lot of clients... I wrote one in perl (right now it only displays progress) and would like to get a rough idea on how much output each processor/core is doing in terms of points per 24 hour period. Ideas?
