I would like to know does different types of cables makes a different to quality for LCD monitor for a pcs?

DVi vs VGA?
DVi is higher quality.
Spending money on an after market DVi cable on the other hand is useless.
Spending extra money on a VGA cable can improve things, but only if you are experiencing signal loss, or have interferance etc.
