cable wrapping?

So I'm going to cable wrap my PSU cables and I want to know a little info before i go into it.

1. Are there different sized cable sleeving that you can get, and if so, what size is recommened for most bundles of wire in the PSU.

2. I will shrink wrap the ends of the mess so that it looks neater, However, there are different diameters of shrink wrap that i have seen around, what size is best recommended for doing the cables coming from the PSU?

There's no easy answer to your question. Just look at your PSU and you'll see a plethora of cables, all in different sizes coming out of your PSU. So I guess the best answer to what sizes you'll need is "all of them". Sleeving is relatively cheap, so I would just suggest buying an ample length of several different sizes. As far as shrink wrap, just use the same diamater as the sleeving you used on the same cable.

Ok, thats sorta what i was thinking but i wanted to see if there was any sort of exact answer so i dont have to just hit the broad spectrum of things by getting all the different ones.

Are there any better brands than others in the sleeving and shrink wrapping?

I would just buy a pre-made kit. It'll have everything you need except for the molex removers, and it'll be cheaper than buying the parts seperately.

I already know how to remove the molex connectors so im not worried about that. However, I have not heard of or seen these kits, where can i get them?

I had never seen or heard of them either, but then I went into a Radio Shack the other day to get a new set of headphones for my PC at work, and I saw a whole rack of PC modding supplies, most of them from Thermaltake, and on that rack were several of those same sleeving kits.

I believe I already likned you here, there are several right there.

How do you get the 4 pin motherboard connector off the wire? I am having the hardest time getting this stupid thing off. It is stuck on there for now as far as I can tell, but I would really like to wrap this cable as I have done the rest of the cables on my current PSU.

Also, does anyone know where I can get a read out of exactly how to put back all the wires in a 20pin motherboard connector? I Also want to re-wrap that cable, but I don't want to take the wires out of the connector until I am sure I know how to put them back in the right way.

O, wow, they have tools specially made to take these out? Crazy, I had no idea! I have just been using a very very small eye glasses screw driver for this sort of thing. I will certainly order this immediately!
