I recently moved out of my parent's house which only had COMCAST CABLE INTERNET but I moved out to a dorm-like house which already provides free basic comcast cable TV, but out of curiousity I plugged in my cable tv line to my cable modem and I was able to go online. Is it normal for cable tv lines to also go online without subscribing? and if I do continue using internet will comcast eventually find out and start billing the owner of the dorm?
