Hey guys, I'm looking for a device to try and sort out the rg59 coax cable mess at home. Lots of these cables no longer have heads on them. I'd like to be able to find out which goes where and if possible how 'good' the line is.

Looking at amazon, not sure which would do the job. Would appreciate if anyone knows. Thanks!

Overpriced.

Got a Home Depot or Lowes near you? They have less expensive options.

I picked up one of these Tone Probe kits from a local "discount tools" store (no name brands, mostly Chinese manufacturer) for $20 last month. Saved my ass in a home theater install where the client had an unlabeled junction box to 20 ceiling and wall mounted speakers.

The second tool was for you to test the cables AFTER you've decided to put connectors on them and needed to test them.
