I'm thinking of getting an antec p180b and I'm going to get a new set of rounded drive cables.

I plan on getting a single dual-device cable to connected 2 dvd drives in the top 2 slots of the case, and then a single device cable to connect to an HD in the bay (along with an SATA for another drive).

I don't want to get an overly long cable and then have to tuck it behind stuff to hide it. I also obviously don't want to get a too short cable and have it not work.

So what length dual-device cable should I get so that I can get to the top 2 bays, and what about for the HD? The ports are on the close end of the motherboard, but I'd like a little leeway for when I end up with a different motherboard.

I have a full tower Superalien-X and I used a 24 and an 18. The 24 is exessive while the 18 is about just right for my tower. I used the top 2 5.25 racks for 2xDVDRW and the IDE ports are at the bottom of the motherboard and it fit just nicely.

Check how tall your tower is, and see if the second IDE channel will reach the 5.25 bay.
