Cable card Htpc hooked up to Xbone

I was wondering how well the xb one will handle my htpc(with cable card) hooked up to the hdmi in?

Should work fine, but my question is are you only using the PC as a cable card WMC setup? Otherwise couldn't imagine why you would give up more for less.
