I'm trying to settle a debate with a fellow guy about what is the bus speed between the Kentsfield and Yorkfield dies. I think the bus speed between the die is the fsb speed (1066/1333/1600, quad pumped bus speed) while he think it run at the speed of the bus, which is 266/333/400.

Who are right and is there a clear reference about that ?

I believe you are correct, it is the quad-pumped FSB (800/1066/1333/1600). The reference clock (200/266/333/400) is used within the chipset as a signal generator for everything else, I believe, and is only used for that purpose.
