has been a long time since i posted...im wondering...so now c2d really sucks and i5 and i7 are the sh*t ?

so basically my non overclocked e8400 with 4 gigs of ram...is old and sucks?
 
Depends on what application you run and if you need more performance. I mean if you run word an atom cpu will do but if you run the latest game at the highest resolution with multiple high resolution displays you may need to upgrade.
 
hmmm ok...

only game i play is counterstrike source on a sony 40inch hd lcd tv ...with a geforce 9600gt ... e8400 with 4 gigs in windows 7 ... i still get 100 fps+ in the native resolution of the tv
so i guess i dont need it at all....

No. You would gain nothing by upgrading.

If Crysis 2, Mafia 2, Brink, and other trailers make you drool... start saving, now.
 
nah...

newer games are too complicated...older games were better...
css is pure action,buy weapon, instant play and kill...
