Hi,
I wonder how much temperature different between cores that people experience. I have E6300 that has around 5 degree different between core 0 and core 1 (core 0 is always hotter). This is the same either idle or loaded (2 core 100% loaded).
Is this normal? I guess? What is your experience?

I am guessing you have a poor IHS contact between the Die and IHS cause one side to have slightly less contact.

This is normal for a C2D.

as long as niether of the cores are going over 62 you're dead safe. Not a problem.

Core 1 loads 3'c higher than core 0.

And, as mentionned above, it's the IHS's fault.

God, with dies this big, why do we even HAVE IHS's...

Thanks everyone.
I'm running with stock cooler now and at loaded about 60c (2.8GHz).
I have Scythe Ninja coming soon. I guess I will "massage" the IHS before installing the Ninja then.
