C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\Perflib_Perfda ta_128.dat a virus?

i was looking in process explorer and i saw C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\Perflib_Perfdata_128.dat running in a few programs which seems a bit weird since i've never heard of it.

is it a virus? i did a search on google but only got foreign language stuff, and i made it out to seem like it isn't a virus, but just checking.
 
ive narrowed it down to 2 apps. either Zone alarm or AVG anti virus . if you dont have either of these programs running then you may have an issue.
 
It's not a virus. I see those files all the time. You may find sometimes that you can't delete them because they are "in use".
I really don't know what they're for, but I think it may be tied into system restore.

EDIT: After a closer look it appears that file is tied to fax services.
