Is there a place i can pickup c-stripping localy? We have a Frys around here along with some hadware stores.

If you're talking abou the U-Channel molding that goes around case windows, then you can pick some up at just about any auto parts store.

I need the small stuff that goes around the holes for case fans. Local PC shop i went to always called it C-stripping.

It's commonly called door edge moding. It is available in clear, chrome, gold, and black.

You can buy it in dual 30" strips or 1 roll of 10'.

but istn the autoparts stuff thick? I may try it and see if it works.

Do a search for "Edge Molding" on McMaster. They've got tons of sizes and styles.

It's the thinnest you'll find.

Locally I dont doubt that. Ive used some very thin stuff that looked nice but came in a kit for adding a blowhole. I used to help a small computer company "Arena Computers" on the side and they had tons of the stuff. To bad they went out of buisness.
