i love that! :)

now all you have to do is build your LCD into the front of the case and have an all-in-one setup and your done ;)

Yeah if the monitor was functional that would be so pimp. Alot less to lug to lans to.

Call me out about it if im totally wrong.... but dont u think that Altec and Tengen were total asses just then? More so Tengen than altec. It's a place for constructive criticism, not for cutting people down.
/soapbox

I personally think that is pretty darned cool. Not what i personally would do, but it is a really neat piece of art which had plenty of work put into it.

Good job!

I think the box is very goddamn cool, actually. I wanted to convey sheer astonishment more than anything else.

My appologies, then. No asses here :) Except me

it's funny to see what "constructive criticism" means to some ppl here ( which obviously sounds close " say it's good or that you like it otherwise don't post "

I myself don't like that, it fits in my "tasteless stuff", but I guess most of you guys would rather have " constructive criticism " :D

true. i go to an art school - we tear each others work APART. you would not believe.

i consider it tacky as well. If there were a monitor somehow attached it would add to it much more. Also the openings for the i/o ports aren't well done. It could have been done much better over all.

good concept, nice idea - just not the best implementation. Oh, and i also like the CRT 2004 sticker you added. It looks very professional.

but that's just my .02

Not bad, like said, good design, decent implementation. I dont like the Homer thing, not that I dont like Homer, but he seems so out of place without any other art work. Maybe a little better tie into the theme externally. I dont like the holes on the left hand side of the monitor (when looking at the monitor). They should be dressed or meshed. I do like the CDROM in the bottom, but a slotted drive might have looked more sleek. I would have liked the front CRT area mesh to be of the color of the original CRT to look more stock but not, but of course that is my opinion. All in all, I do like the idea, have seen others do it, but good take on it. As others have mentioned, a functional display somewhere would have garnered more points. Keep up the good work and hope to see some more...

great idea. The mesh front doesn't thrill me, but I love the idea of fitting it all in the monitor. The top that opens...what does that serve? air intake? exhaust? or a top panel to work on the inside? I'm guess the third though. Interesting idea there too.

i would get scared looking @ 2 moniters.. well maybe thats just me
very nice tho

Serving to improve or advance; helpful: constructive criticism

constuctive criticism helps not, tears... giving an example of how he could make it better would be a good example of constructive criticism... not "fuckin sux dick, you need a new hobby" which would be just rude... people need to learn manners... help each other out, and stopping acting like they are the best modders out there...

i like the case, and love the homer image... but like people said would be total kick ass if you put an lcd monitor in there also...
