C: drive wont defrag?

For some reason after defragging im getting report of pretty much nothing was done and the drive is still heavily fragmented, This is only on my C: partition.(WIndows vista was installed on another partition before but unintsalled)

Needless to say performace is slowly getting worse and the first time in 5yrs of XP im getting BSOD screens :(
 
Is your HDD too full? Defrag needs so much disk space free to be able to defrag.
 
Yes... the HD needs to have 10-15% free space: You could also run defrag.exe from the command prompt, this does not require any amount of free space. Just google the command to find out the right parameters and switches for you.
