Different styles of RTS, imo they're both decent.

While both being RTS thats about all they share. SpC is a much more strategic game where as C&C3 is more down to the tactical level (COH is in this realm as well). I guess it all comes down to what you really want from your RTS. Having played both, (I'm a sucker for C&C single player) I really like SpC and play it more often. That being said C&C3 has better single player, and a more developed story.

One cannot really make a direct comparison because they accomplish different things. Both are good, and I imagine that many RTS junkies will pick up both for there different "awesomeness".
