currently looking at buying a 6800gt and im trying 2 fig. out who to go with bfg xfx or evga. any1 have any comments on which card is better or runs faster? thanks for input
 
lol...there all equal....so heres what it comes down to...price....and a few perks...bfg=lifetime warranty... xfx=same as bfg/evga but no bundle worth mentioning.....evga=step up program/far cry....
id just go on price...or the bfg for the warranty....
 
and with the BFG it is already faster than xfx and evga since they overclock their cards at the factory...the BFG 6800 GT OC is out of the box clocked at 370/1000 versus 350/100 on the xfx and evga....and the bios is set to run 1.4v versus 1.3v to the core....so in the end the better overclocker is most likely the BFG...since its built to do so anyway....but thats just my opinion.....check my sig....check the air cooled clocks on this sucker!!!!
 
Like to add you can get the Galaxy Glacier best cooling on a stock unit, MSI perhaps the best software package to come with a unit. These and Leadtek seem to also be the quiter ones.

lol...20mhz core oc...WHOOPEDY DO!! A WHOLE 2 FPS MORE...actually its pretty cool...but thats only because its under warranty.....the bfgs core OC is usually not even noticable...but ya...its something to consider...

Yeah I know 20 on the core isn't much to consider....but look where mine oc's to on just air and stock cooler....I get my NV5 tomorrow. I will see how much higher she can go then.
