Ok, I'm gonna buy my Koolance Kit directly from www.koolance.com

The case and system is 209.99
CPU-300 H06 is 56.99
GPU-L06 is 39.99
HDD Block 39.99
HDD 2nd Block Kit 19.99

Subtotal:

I have to buy the case and system from them cause they're the only people I'd trust besides www.xoxide.com who is out of stock. If you know a place where I can get any of those water blocks for cheaper, my ears are open. Also, I need to know where I can buy one of those tube cutters, the litle circular ones that have 2 handles coming out, and you just squeeze to cut the tube. Thanks a million :)

You dont have to buy the case if you use the external cooler that works *better* than the one they mount on the case....

Its the exmos-AL

So if I got the 650 model does it come with the regular EXOS? ANd what kind of temperature differences are we talking here between the Exos and Exos-AL

well, I just bought my PC2-650-black from DLJ systems and my the blocks from www.koolance.com Now I need to find where I can buy a tube cutter

You can always just use a razor blade, and a cutting board to cut your tubing. I did that before I went to www.usplastics.com and bought a soft tubing cutter (about $5, add shipping).

The case is not an Exos, the Exos is an external unit that is designed to be used by those without a watercooled case. But from what I understand, the WC components of the cases are nearly identical to the Exos units.

There is no performance difference between the Exos and the Exos-AL. They simply look different.

there is alittle difference ..first off the Rad on the EXOS is external ..so it should be alot easier to cool ..consider that its not boxed up with a hot computer .. 2. you could even go a set futher and replace the rad if you are smart and drop the temps some ..personaly unless you really don't want a external box (which i wouldn't understand why consider its best for upgrading purposes)

ummm, both versions of the Exos are completely external, even the one that comes mounted to the case, there are no water cooling components possessed within the case other than the control module, hoses, blocks etc..

P.S. I desperately need a soft tube cutter, where can I get one?!?!?!?!?!!?!?

Am I missing something here? Why do you need a special cutter for the tubing? Just use a utility knife.

ya, I'm just gonna use a pair of scissors, thanks for all the help guys :)

Actually there is a slight difference between the EXOS and the EXOS-AL, besides just the way they look ! :)
The AL has higher rated CFM fans compared to the orginal EXOS and even the older case units and they seem to help the unit work just a little better !
But since I've already up graded the fans in mine, I'm pretty much on a par with the AL units ! :)

i'm thinking of buying the exos but what kind of temps are you guys getting? also new york city is around the corner and this slk900 ain't cutting it!

I just purchased the GPU block what a nice peice I went from 378clock to 420 before my radiator said mercy. I'll have to upgrade that next.

I'm using the Thermaltake Aquaris II system. It actually works pretty good and still have the orginal pump. Which I will be replacing with a Max-Jet 1200.
