Currently I'm running a dual monitor setup with both monitors supporting up to 1440x900. I am looking to upgrade to something bigger and found the ST2410 on Dell's website for what I think is a really good price. I know it doesn't have any of the fancy features or connectivity options but I just need a basic monitor.

They are $189 on Dell's website right now. What are your opinions about this monitor? Also, what is Dell's return policy and warranty on their monitors. I know newegg has the 8 pixel rule which I think is pretty ridiculous. Is Dell any better?

Why not consider the u2311H? I just ordered one for $239 +tax FS using the 20% code. It's got an IPS panel, same resolution, and a perfect pixel policy:

Perfection down to the last pixel:
Dell UltraSharp displays are designed for perfection in every pixel. In the event you discover even one bright, defective pixel during your limited hardware warranty period, we'll exchange your monitor at no cost to you.

It'll cost me $100 more to go with that display. I'm really trying to go as cheap as possible.

I have three of these. IMO the colors are great and vivid (after calibration). Minimal Backlight bleed. Not noticable clouding. The looks are very good as well. Some people may find the glossy frame disturbing but the screen it self is matte.heightadjustable stand would be good. I give it 4/5 stars.

If you have any questions. Just ask. I will try to answer.
