Buy NVMe drive now?

I'm looking at doing a major system upgrade in September and with the news of the debacle WD and Toshiba are going through I'm wondering if it's worth grabbing an NVMe drive now in the event prices start creeping up?

I'm looking at grabbing a 512GB 970 Pro.

Costs will most likely stabilize instead for going down like they did lately. I just bought a Corsair MP510 1TB for a great price (Canadian...). I don't care for pci 4. Performs great. Samsung's are great but to costly for my taste.

They lost 6 exabytes? Ouch! I've never saw that much in my life. Ive never even had a petabyte.

It sounds like a wise idea to grab your Ssd just in case. It wouldn't hurt. I wouldn't mind getting another but my finances won't allow it at this time.
