I'll be leaving for a month long vacation soon, and I see a lot of deals with good mail-in rebates out there. I'm wondering whether I should wait for a month to buy what I need, maybe the prices will go down and new rebates will pop up; or should I buy now and take advantage of the rebates. This is one deal out of many that I am talking about:

((also, what does OEM mean? like when a free game comes with a video card it says OEM?))

prices wont go up, but I doubt they'll go down much.

If you can wait till december that'd be best because by then we should have a flushed out RV870 and GT300.

OEM=original equipment manufacturer. The game will be in a paper sleeve with no manual.

I'd wait too. I'm tempted to buy right now but I know in a month or two the prices should be a lot less.

No matter when you buy it, the next day the price will drop :D

Prices will probably continue to fall or at least remain constant until the economy picks up.

if buying NOW, the 4890 is a great deal. If buying later, wait for the next gen of graphic cards.

Pretty much this. If you aren't in dire need of a card this instant then I would hold off till rumored DX11 cards in Sept/Oct. Prices will drop even further then at the start of a new generation.
