It looks like I can get the 960 GTX 2GB for $25 more than a 950 GTX 2GB?

Is there any reason to get the 950 GTX instead?

3D work will mostly be in CAD programs. There will be a small amount of gaming, e.g. World of Tanks. 1920x1200 native resolution...

I don't keep up much on the professional side of video cards, but I thought that the newer Nvidia cards weren't so great at it. May want to check into getting one of their professional cards.

Then again I might be wrong. Like I said I don't really keep up with that type of thing.

If it's just coming down to gaming, I would go with the most expensive card that you can afford.

I'd say it's worth it. There really won't be any difference in your CAD programs, but I believe it's about 15% - 20% faster in games than the 950. Go for it.

Thanks, it's not super professional, and his old 750 Ti seemed to do just fine.

yeah for 25 bucks its well worth it.

There will be some difference in cad, depending on if it using Dx or Ogl to power its view ports.
