But what brand?

I've got no experience with this, so I have no real brand loyalty yet, and am unsure about the pros and cons here. It seems like there are only three Big Names in components.

Danger Den
Swiftech
Koolance

Does the [H] have a preferred brand, or do you like to mix and match?

I mix and match, but I'm not [H]ard. My loop's main components have parts from Danger Den, EK, Enzotech, and Swiftech. Had no experience either, so went with recommendations, price, and things that were pleasing to my eyes.

I ordered everything, except cpu block and tubing, from Dangerden. My CPU block is the Enzotech Sapphire from Newegg and the tubing was Masterklear from Petrastechshop. I got the fans from Jab-Tech.

For me it was, who ever had the better price. I didn't really care about the manufacturer so much. :D

I'm using mainly Swiftech products and have no complaints yet. :)
