Business Vista64 Install Help

So I was able to secure a corporate cd-key from my office. The copy of Business Vista64 I had produced an error multiple times. So I asked a friend who had Business Vista64 to burn me a copy of his disc which he got from school. Everything went as planned, booted from the disc, program's running and then I had my corporate CD-Key and the program states there is an error and the install program must be restarted! Any idea why this is happening? I thought all version of Vista were on the install disc, its just the CD-Key that unlocks which version gets installed?
 
If you are using an actual "Corporate" key, and you believe it doesn't need to activate, you're wrong. In fact, it *must* activate, and it *must* activate against your office's volume key server.

If you were in some XP Corporate key "I don't need to activate" mindset, lose it. That's been gone for a long time.

That is correct. Try installing Vista without entering a key. Make sure you choose the Business version to install, however. If that fails, you may be looking at a hardware issue.

Vista Ultimate Retail comes with both x86 and x64 in the packaging.
