burning video_ts files to a dvd-r

i looked up tutorials and everything, and they all say to just drag all the files in the video_ts folder to the video_ts folder on the cd. so when i do that, and burn the dvd, the dvd player just says "NO PLAY" and thats the end. is there any special settings or something? thanks.

Does your DVD player support DVD-R? Some don't.

the files in the video_ts dir have to be setup in a certain way. I think nero has a built in dvd authoring software. try that.

yes i check and my dvd does support dvd-r. i really dont know why this is so hard to figure out.
