I have a Plextor PX B940SA 12X Blu Ray Burner and would like to burn hi def (AVCHD) copies. But I believe need to get the correct player to mate with to make hd copies, right? The problem being (I think) most burners read at one speed and write at another...so do I need to get a blu ray player that reads at 12X, or what?
all assistance will be greatly appreciated....jpc

Doesn't matter, the 12x is how fast it will record to the disc, that's all. But if you burn to fast sometimes it may cause errors. My recommended burn speed regardless of media is 4x.

You will be fine, any player will read it as long it supports AVCHD. Look on the box or in the manual if the player will support it. :D

Sounds too easy, but I like it.... Thanks
I'll just get another Plextor this one works just fine
