Burned out Compaq PSU

Recently my friend's PSu burned out and we were trying to find hima new one, but we figured out that anything we get off of newegg is going to be too big, as the compaq case is different than a starndard at case.

The part number for the item is 243890-001. I tried to find a replacement online, but anything i find is over $50, which is more than he wants to spend, and more than i think a 250w psu should cost.

Any suggestions?

Welcome to world of propriatary form factors; consider yourself lucky that you can even find a replacement......:cool:

If the computer is worth $50.00....get one. If not....don't.
