I bought a NEC/Mitsubishi 930sb a little over a month ago. I got it all adjusted to be sharp and clear and after about 2 or 3 days I noticed a pinkish discoloration in the upper left corner, and a blush discoloration all along the left side.

I talked to NEC's customer service and went through all the OSD controls (including the Global Sync) to no avail, tried a different computer, made sure there was nothing around it, etc etc.

So cust. service said it would require a replacment. I can give them my CC# and they'll ship me a monitor, when I get it I can ship the one I have back to them. Thought that was nice.

BUT they'll only replace it with a REFURB!! Dang thing started going fritzy a couple days after I got it and can't get a real replacement.

I guess I'll go ahead and do the refurb deal, if the one they send looks like something's buggy with it, I'll just send that one back. The discoloration thing is annoying, but I can probably deal with it. Just sucks that my $300 probably could've been spent on something that worked right.
