This is pissing me off. That there are 1155 mini itx mobos, and a great prices but no AM3+ mini itx mobos. I been waiting to build an AM3+ mini itx rig, but still nothing. Can anyone explain why?

Maybe it's just me, but Bulldozer doesn't seem like a great platform for Mini-ITX, given its higher power consumption. Of course it also depends on what role the computer is for (HTPC, gaming, etc), but it seems to be that right now Bulldozer isn't the best choice for... well, almost anything. Which is a shame, since competition is good.

the higher power consumption part makes sense, but it doesn't bother me that much. i just need a mini itx mobo because i already got a mini itx case and the processor. thanks for the input.

Ah, yeah, since you have the processor already makes sense to just buy the motherboard, of course. But there hasn't apparently indeed even been a peep about any upcoming boards, so you might indeed be out of luck for a long time to come :(

You're better off buying an Asus M4A88T-i Deluxe AM3 mitx motherboard plus a 1055T (125 cpu watt is fine) if you really must have an AMD mitx system. You can even overclock if you use a program like Phenommsrtweaker to prevent throttling. check my sig for reference.
The Bulldozer CPU's are dissapointing and aren't really an improvement over the 6 core phenom II imo. Or you can just get a 2500K plus a decent H67 mitx board and call it a day. Don't waste your time with the mitx Z68 boards they're garbage.
