Built new machine, but getting no sound.... ???

Soundblaster Audigy 2ZS

I'm not gettng any sound out of the speakers at all. No system stuff, no windows startup, no CD sound.

I disabled the setting in the BIOS for the onboard sound and restarted, no change.
I believe I also have the onboard jumper set correctly

So I pulled the card out, reenabled the onboard audio via the bios and rebooted. Now I actually get sound, but it sounds like the Chipmunks. Everything is high pitched and really fast. System sounds too, not just a music CD.

Anybody seen this before? Suggestions?
