building new Nforce 3 system need advice

Hey there I'm bulding a XPC this is the board I want to get it's the new nforce 3 150 board from nvidia...http://us.shuttle.com/specs2.asp?pro_id=389

I want to get a 64 bit AMD 3000 chip in it and a gig of Ram but this is what I don't fully know what to get... ram sooo much ram... I'm not gonna be doing any overclocking so I just need standard ram but which one? Will dual vs single channel make a difference on amd /wo overclocking? any help would be apprechiated... thanks a lot

Nice board.

You need at least PC3200 RAM to match the 400mhz bus, I would stick with a brand name such as Corsair or Kingston. Dual channel will make a SMALL difference, but overall I'd say it's worth it. If you're going to get a GB of RAM, then get 2 512MB sticks so you can run in Dual Channel mode.

Athlon 64 doesn't support dual channel. Other than that I would agreee with above. Stick with high quality stuff, you get what you pay for.
