Ok this is my plan...

to build a shuttle using some existing parts ive already got.

Shuttle XPC SB75G2 V2 Black (http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=56-101-431&depa=0)
P4 2.8C
512MB PC3200LL CorsairXMS (2-3-2-6)
Western Digital 200GB 7200 rpm SATA Drive
Liteon CD-RW/DVD-ROM Combo Drive
Teac Floppy or 160GB Maxtor 7200RPM IDE
Radeon 9800 Pro
Audigy2 ZS

my problems

#1 - Is the small psu in the shuttle going to be able to support all of this?

#2 - Will my audigy 2 zs card be able to fit into shuttle pc? I know there is a pci slot, but space wise

#3 - Cooling won't be an issue with the stuff ive chosen, will it?

#4 - The second hard drive ive got listed beside the floppy, will there be enough power if i used it too?

Thanks in advance fellas.

yes, yes, yes, and yes ;-)

the only problem I had was that my shuttle would not even post with my audigy 2 in it. i was never able to figure out what the problem was.

its just because its audigy 2 ... these cards give various problems on various setups .... most likely its some IRQ problem

yeah, creative sucks. any suggestions on how to fix this? i mean, i couldnt even get to the bios. i would just get random beeps.

i would just suggest that you get a santa cruz sound card
i never heard anyone having troubles installing it

did you ever try to contact creative ?
maybe there is some download you can get off their site ?

beeps in a shuttle with no speaker eh? oh, or you mean, in the "various setups" ?

You can easily replace the stock ICE fan for quick better cooling, and if you want to mod there are other things you can do like cut out the restricting grills and anything you think of.

Yeah, as is, there would be no prob, aside from compatibility issues ie the audigy 2 may there be a problem.
