Building Computer Running 24/7?

What exactly should I be worried about here? First off air circulation I realize already is going to be a huge concern for me. It will be sitting in a cabinet and I really have not much choice on this. I'm guessing a good case with quiet fans would be a good start. Do you think I need to get aftermarket fans for the CPU and such? The computer will be running mainly our Property Management System that has a propietary database that doesn't get much larger then 5GB. I'm looking for hardware that can run 24/7 and cause much problem for me down the line.

Sorry I posted a motherboard question in that forum asking for 24/7 usage also but realized I should possibly ask about all parts as opposed to just one.

buy the top shelf of 6 months ago, and get a solid powersupply and UPS, and you'll be fine. Most computers have no problems running 24/7.

Main concern is airflow, especially since you mentioned a cabinet... now, do you mean a rackmount cabinet? lol.

shoot, my Athlon XP 3200+ has been running 24/7 for over 5 years. My Abit MB died last month, but what can you expect after all of that time. Oh, and I'm not just running a database. I've run games, converted movies, played music and videos, etc. Try to get a case that uses some 12CM or larger fans to make it run quiet but that will also move a lot of air. Also put a good heatsink/fan on your CPU and you'll be fine.
